Cultured Pearl Arabic Prayer Beads
This cultured pearl Arabic prayer beads is composed of 33 beads in oval shape. The bead size measures 5 x 6 mm, 20 cm in length, and weighs 20 grams. The Shaheed is made of cultured pearl while the Karkousha is tassel.
A cultured pearl is a pearl created by an oyster farmer under controlled conditions. Cultured pearls can be farmed using two very different groups of bivalve mollusk; the freshwater river mussels and the saltwater pearl oysters.
Pearls are considered to be an important part of making ornaments since ancient times.
